What is graphic design?
Remember when you were only 6 years old and had fun with just a few crayons and a peace of paper to draw what your imagination was telling you? Perhaps with this we can say that this was your first introduction to graphic design. But unlike children's drawings, nowadays the words "Graphic Design" regularly lead in the educational, professional and mostly digital sphere.
Graphic design is a visual advertising tool that helps us to promote some product or service through different digital media, with the aim of inciting our audience to want to know more about what they see and even to buy our products. It is an art that involves a lot of discipline and creativity to be able to create motivating images that please the human eye. Without these designers the world of advertising and marketing would be an extremely boring place.

I remember in college when the graphic design teacher talked to us about the importance of being a graphic designer, but more now in the digital age and how traditional advertising like newspapers, magazines, etc. were going down in history. And this was at the beginning of the millennium between 1999 and 2002 (if I know! it was a long time ago). Just imagine, there was still no facebook or instagram. And neither does youtube!
Now digital image is so essential to promote a brand that we already have apps on our phones that sometimes manage to compete with the quality of a professional designer. But there's still a lot to do and there's still a lot to do for artificial intelligence to replace us. Well, I'm out of it.
Importance of graphic design
